The LFA Treasurer fills an important board position and oversees the financial condition of the organization. The LFA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Revenue sources include annual membership dues, donations, grants, and town contributions. Major expenses include Eurasian milfoil remediation programs and the boat launch Greeter program. The treasurer works closely with our professional bookkeeper, creates and tracks the annual budget, and ensures required tax and other documents are filed. Basic knowledge of Quickbooks is helpful.
