Report Environmental Concerns
In order for the waters and shoreline of Lake Fairlee to remain a vibrant place for recreation, wildlife habitat, and peaceful enjoyment, it is important for concerns to be registered with people who can address these concerns. Thank you for taking action to protect and preserve Lake Fairlee for the enjoyment of current and future generations.
Report Environmental Violations:
Vermont has environmental regulations such as the Shoreland Protection Act in place to protect Vermonters and the lands and waters of the state. Violations may occur, either inadvertently or through careless disregard. If you see anything of environmental concern (e.g. shoreline clearing) you may file a report here: tinyurl.com/EnvironmentalViolationReport

Report Aquatic Invasive Plants or Animals:
If you suspect an aquatic plant or animal may be invasive, please report it to the state here: (802) 828-1000 or via email: [email protected] Please also inform the LFA Water Quality Action Committee, the LFA Board of Trustees, and the LFA greeters at the RT 244 boat launch.
Report Cyanobacteria Observation:
If you suspect a cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) bloom, please inform the LFA Water Quality Action Committee and report it to the state and the Lake Champlain Committee (LCC) using this online form.
