Proposed amendments to the LFA Bylaws will be presented at the August 1, 2026 Annual meeting; the amendments will be voted on in their entirety, and will be ratified or rejected via a 'Yes or No' vote.

The Lake Fairlee Association, Inc. is governed by a set of bylaws which include the following section on Purposes:

Section 1.2 - Purposes. The Association is organized and shall be operated exclusively for the charitable purposes to preserve, protect and enhance the distinctive ecology and natural resources of Lake Fairlee and its surrounding watershed.
